The fifth edition of the Steel Festival will be held in December / Trying to make maximum use of the capabilities of steel makers

Online economy – Halimah Shakri: Regarding the fifth steel exhibition in January, Vahid Yaqoubi told the online economy reporter: In 2017, when the country was in a severe crisis and we were facing a shortage of many parts and equipment of the steel production line, we realized that many of these parts were localized inside the country. but the companies are not aware of it and finally, with the cooperation of Imidro and the Ministry of Safety, we were able to form the localization movement, the result of which was the holding of the first national steel festival and exhibition in 2017.

The executive vice president of the Iran Steel Manufacturers Association continued: This year, the fifth edition of the festival will be held from December 19 to 21 in Milad Tower under the auspices of the Steel Association and with the cooperation of IMIDRO and the Ministries of Safety, large and small steel producers and knowledge-based companies.

He added: This exhibition is a place for domestic manufacturers of the steel industry to showcase their abilities, and the difference between it and other exhibitions is that steel makers do not participate in this festival to present their achievements and potential.

Yehqoubi said: Manufacturers in this exhibition are trying to make maximum use of domestic production capabilities, and we hope that this festival and national steel exhibition, like previous years, will help to realize the knowledge-based economy in the country.
