The films entered into the international section of Fajr Film Festival were announced

According to the news reporter of Fars news agency, the press conference announcing the names of the candidates for the international section was held on the second day of the festival in the presence of Massoud Najafi, director of public relations, and Raed Faridzadeh, director of the international section, in the press conference hall of the festival house.

Massoud Najafi, the public relations manager of the 42nd International Film Festival, initially apologized for the inconsistencies that occurred on the first day.
Raed Faridzadeh, the director of the international department, said: This department will start working on 16th of Bahman. The international market will continue from 18 to 22 Bahman. The closing will be at the same time as the national section.
He continued: We have 5 different departments, 2 of which are competitive. Saadat cinema section and Jalof Gah Sharq, Festival of Festivals and 2 special sections for Palestine, Rooh and Dem and Road Belt section are international sections. We will have 11 works in the international section.
The director of the international department pointed out: in the Saadat cinema section from Venezuela and Mexico, Sayeh Katir, Desert movie, On arrival from Spain, Abducted, Bellaga lessons, Urgent desert, In the flood era, The coldest city, Beautiful lies, The same summer Salo Sobh will compete from Iran.
Faridzadeh announced the films of the Jalof Gah Sharq section: Muqtada, Winter Dream, Fatemeh, A House for Sale, Summer of Boujad, The End of the World, Sakra and 2 Iranian films of this section Zahir and Aseman Gharb will be present in this section.
He added: “Map 75”, “Substitute”, “Samreh”, “Domingo and Meh”, “Penalty”, “Absence”, “Farha”, “Melody”, and “Khane Maherkh” are present in this section.

Faridzadeh announced the films of the Palestine Rooh and Dem section as follows: The films Borders of Dreams and Fear, Shatila’s Children, Women Beyond the Borders, Mendman and Zaytoun and Farah are present in this section.

The director of the international department continued: In the road belt section, the films Man in the Moon, Karma, Martial Law, Majaz, Living in Poetry, Silent Tree, and Life String are also present.
In another part of his speech, Raed Faridzadeh said: This year, we will witness the 25th film market, which will be held under the management of Mrs. Javahersaz from 18th of Bahman, and 22 countries will participate in it. Also, we have 6 pavilions from different countries and I hope we will have a prosperous market.

Faridzadeh continued: International films will be screened at the Cinema Museum from today, and for media friends, we will screen them at the Tower from 17th of Bahman. Regarding workshops, we will have a total of 11 workshops. We have 6 more general workshops on the relationship between film and the image industry, in screenwriting, filming, and we will have 5 specialized meetings in the film market.
