The financing of the agricultural sector is targeted and serves the private sector

According to Poli Mali News, Central Bank Governor Ali Salehabadi said at the unveiling ceremony of the chain financing plan in the agricultural sector, emphasizing contract farming, that contract farming is a good thing and in this plan, we are moving from the traditional system to the modern one.

He added: In our opinion, the most important action is that this financing is done in the private sector, because the private sector is more active in the field of agriculture. Another important issue is that financing is targeted.

Salehabadi said: In financing contract agriculture, the Central Bank, the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad, banks and active companies cooperate well.

The Governor of the Central Bank continued: One of the important issues in contract farming is to provide the necessary training to people, in this context, they suggest that the issue of training banks and beneficiaries should be followed, and a pamphlet should be prepared and a training course should be held.

He suggested: successful companies should present their models and banks should also be activated; Also, legal infrastructures should be provided for the development of work and cross-sectoral cooperation should be carried out.
