In this regard, we should mention wrestling as one of the main sports in Russia, which has always claimed the championship and supremacy in the world and the Olympics, and is considered one of the most proud European countries.
It is said that the embargo and isolation of Russian wrestling started from the European Under-23 Championships and will naturally continue in future international arenas.
According to the Russian wrestling authorities, the Russian national team will not participate in the European Under-23 Freestyle and Freestyle Wrestling Championships in Bulgaria.
Of course, the Russians took the initiative and withdrew from the tournament before the World Wrestling Union or any other international sports body banned them from competing.
