The first case of the new corona strain in the Middle East was recorded in Saudi Arabia

According to IRNA, the Saudi news agency (WAS) today (Wednesday) announced the registration of the first case of a new corona strain called “O micron” in the country, adding that the infected person is a Saudi citizen who recently One of the North African countries has returned.

The news agency quoted the Saudi Ministry of Health as saying that health officials quarantined the infected person, as well as those who came in contact with him.

This is the first case of a new leap being announced in the Middle East and North Africa.

Without elaborating, the Saudi Ministry of Health added: “The infected person is a Saudi citizen who has returned from a North African country.”

The ministry urged all Saudi citizens to complete doses of the Corona vaccine, and urged those returning from traveling to follow the quarantine and laboratory guidelines for their health and the health of all.

The World Health Organization (WHO) announced Monday that a mutated species of the corona virus, known as the micron, is likely to spread around the world and is dangerous because of its rapid spread and could have severe consequences in some places.
