The first five weightlifters will go to the field today – Mehr News Agency Iran and world’s news



According to the Mehr reporter, the freestyle wrestling competitions of the Under-23 (Omid) World Championship will start today in Belgrade, while the contenders in the weights of 57, 65, 70, 79 and 97 kg will compete against their opponents.

The draw ceremony of the first five weights was held last night and the program of the Iranian freestyle wrestlers was determined as follows:

In the 57 kg weight class, which is attended by 24 people, the young Ahmad Mohammadnejad will compete with Patrick Glory from the United States in the second round after a break in the first round.

In the 65kg weight class, which is attended by 28 people, Seyed Hassan Ebadi will compete in the first round with Caroli Case from Hungary, and if he wins this opponent in the second round, he will face the winner of the match between Pavel Graver from Moldova and Javit Ajar from Turkey.

In the 70 kg weight category, which was attended by 28 people, Ali Akbar Fazli will rest in the first round and in the second round he will face Basar Nadum from Guinea-Bissau.

In the 79 kg weight class, which is attended by 21 people, Ali Savadkoohi will fight against Wiki from India in the first round, and if he defeats this opponent in the second round, he will face Oktay Hassan from Bulgaria.

In the 97 kg weight class, which is attended by 16 people, Amir Ali Azarpira will wrestle in the first round against Vasil Polyuchenka from Belarus, and if he passes this opponent in the second round, he will face the winner of the match between Zuriko Ortashvili from Georgia and Sutan Otimov from Bulgaria.
