The first pictures of the actor who played the role of “Salman Farsi”
At the same time as the filming of the TV series “Salman the Farsi” directed by Daoud Mirbagheri began in the cinema town of Defence, the image of Alireza Shoja Nouri, who played the role of “Salman the Farsi”, was unveiled.
Charso Press: In this project, three actors play the role of Salman Farsi in three stages: “childhood and adolescence”, “youth” and “middle age and old age”.
The “Persian Salman” project, which was originally written in 1378, was launched in Kerman after a 20-year hiatus in January 2018. Qeshm, Shahroud, Julfa and Ares River; Ghazali town, Mazandaran beaches, Noor cinema town, etc. were some of the places where filming took place in the last two years.
At the beginning of this year, the group’s focus was on making Deir Amourieh decors; It was the palace of Senator Kharos and the interior parts of the church, and after a one-month break, filming began in the Holy Defense settlement. The continuation of these sequences, which are related to Kharos Palace, will be filmed in Ghazali town.
According to the schedule, the filming of the sequences related to the church (Shahroud) and the agate caravanserai (Absard) is on the group’s future agenda. Until now, Armenia is the main destination for recording the remaining parts of the Byzantine era. If the production process goes according to the current schedule, Byzantium (which is considered the middle season of the series) will end in the late autumn of 1401 after a 36-month effort, and the production team will start the Iran season from winter.
So far, more than 19 episodes of this TV series have been shot and edited (preliminary).
Actors such as Farhad Aslani, Dariush Farhang, Mohammad Reza Hedayati, Sevem Borumand, Ramona Shah, Ali Dehkordi, the late Cengiz Jalilund, Mehdi Faqih, Mohammad Javad Jafarpour, Alireza Mehran and several foreign actors (from Tunisia, Armenia, Morocco, Greece and… ) and about 1,500 theater and local actors have been in front of the camera of this series.
A few days ago, one of the foreign actors of this project, Hisham Rostam, died. Salman Farsi’s sequences were the last visual memories of this Tunisian artist.
The role of this late actor in the series was over and there is no need to remove the future parts, re-record or continue working with another actor and such arrangements.
In a note, Daoud Mirbagheri expressed his condolences on the occasion of his death and praised the efforts of this artist.
Simultaneously with the production of these three seasons, the second series of this project is being written. Salman Farsi, focusing on the life and times of these precious companions, is a narrative of Sassanid Iran, a search in the world of Christianity (Byzantium) and understanding of the presence of the Prophet. The second series of this huge project covers the events after the death of Hazrat Khatam until the death of Salman Farsi.
This project is considered to be the biggest series in the history of television from angles such as covering several historical-civilizational periods and dealing with a long period of time (life to death).
