The first presidency of an Iranian woman in the Asian Handball Committee

According to Fars News Agency, the elections of the Asian Handball Confederation are being held in different positions. Prior to this, the election of the chairman, vice chairman and members of the board of directors was held, and Sheikh Ahmad al-Fahd al-Sabah was retained as chairman.

During this election, Alireza Pakdel, President of our Handball Federation, was elected as a member of the Board of Directors for a term of four years by winning a majority of votes. Also on Tuesday, the elections of various committees were followed, with Mitra Nouri, the former vice-president of our country, chairing the “Asian Handball Development” committee.

This is the first time that an Iranian has chaired a committee in the Asian Handball Confederation. Among the various committees, including judges, coaches, medical, legal, marketing, etc., Nouri is also the youngest chairman in terms of age.
