The first review of the Ryzen 7 6800H on the Acer Nitro 5 laptop

Professional Review The first review of the Ryzen 7 6800H mobile processor has been published in the Acer Nitro 5 gaming notebook. This laptop is also equipped with GeForce RTX 3060 graphics.
In terms of specifications, as we said, the Acer Nitro 5 has a Ryzen 7 6800H processor with 8 16-core cores and a frequency of 4.7 GHz (300 MHz less than the fastest chip in the Rembrandt family). Due to the fact that the processor only supports DDR5 memory, this laptop is equipped with two DDR5 4800 memories. The 140-watt GeForce RTX 3060 is also powered by a 15.6-inch display with a resolution of 2540 x 1440 and a refresh rate of 165 Hz. So we are definitely on the side of a good gaming laptop.

Interestingly, there is also support for USB 4 Gen 2, which should offer up to 20 Gbps, but in this review it was stated that the speed is only 10 Gbps, but it has support for Display Port 1.4. An HDMI 2.1 connector can also be seen.
The first review of the Ryzen 7 6800H laptop processor
Unfortunately, this review does not cover graphic performance. While the Ryzen 6000 series is still based on the Zen 3 architecture and, of course, more accurately improved Zen 3 Plus, its integrated graphics benefit from the new RDNA 2 architecture. The 6800H also has a full configuration of 12 computing units, which would be really ideal for testing.

However, the performance of the Cinebench R20 / R23 indicates that the new processor is about 9% faster than the Ryzen 7 5800H in all tests and also 5% faster than the Ryzen 9 5900HX. Of course, it is not yet possible to conclude exactly based on these numbers, but expectations were about 10 to 15% better performance than Cezanne processors.
According to the Professional Review, the new Nitro 5 laptop is available with a starting price of 1599 Euros, which is 400 Euros more than the previous generation. The main reason for this is apparently the lack of components and the presence of DDR5 memory.
