An ITV World Cup analyst has shocked viewers by leaving the live show after hearing the sudden news of his mother’s death in a car accident.
Charso Press: The Danish World Cup pundit for ITV had to leave the show unexpectedly after learning his mother had died in a lorry crash.
Nadia Nadim, 34, was born in Afghanistan, but has Danish nationality and plays for the Danish women’s national team. When the news of the accident and the death of his mother reached Nadim, he had to leave the studio in the middle of the Denmark-Tunisia match.
