The foreign ministers of the permanent members of the UN Security Council (Russia, Britain, China, the United States and France) discussed the UNHCR talks, the reaction to the situation in Afghanistan and Corona, said British Foreign Secretary Liz Terrace.

A few days ago, Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), said in Vienna on Wednesday that Russia welcomed Iran’s statement that it would return to the Comprehensive Joint Action Plan (CJAP) as soon as possible.
“We reiterate Russia’s determination to continue its Vienna-based engagement with the participation of all Borjam member states, including Iran and the United States,” Ulyanov said in a statement posted on the Russian Foreign Ministry’s website. “Returning to the negotiating table as soon as possible plays an important role in this. Yesterday we heard encouraging remarks from the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman. When the talks resume, we assume that based on the results “More work needs to be done in previous courses.”
According to him, the main roots of the current situation regarding Burjam should be related to the withdrawal of the previous US administration from this agreement and the policy of “maximum pressure” adopted by it, which still remains in force.
