The Galaxy S22 series will probably hit the market without the Exynos 2200

Samsung has reportedly delayed the introduction of the Exynos 2200 chipset. As no information is available on the chip’s release date, an informed source says that the unveiling of the Galaxy S22 will only be done with the 1st generation Snapdragon 8 chip and there will be no news about the Exynos 2200.

A source called «دوهیون کیمSamsung claims Galaxy S22 series For the US, Europe, South Korea and Middle East markets with chipset only Snapdragon 8 Generation 1 Offers. He believes that none of the three members of this family will enter the market with the Exynos 2200, but Samsung will introduce this chip to other mobile manufacturers later this year.

If this report is true, many Samsung fans will be disappointed, because the initial rumors were promising news about this chip. It was even claimed in a report Exynos 2200 GPU It has a higher frequency than the Apple A15 chip.

Samsung relies on Qualcomm for the Galaxy S22 series

Given the possible unveiling of the Galaxy S22 series on February 7, it seems unlikely that a sudden change could provide the conditions for the presence of the Exynos 2200 in this family. With that in mind, Qualcomm must increase production of the first-generation Snapdragon 8 to meet the needs of the Koreans. Earlier, it was said that the production of this chip, which happens to be made in collaboration with Samsung, had a problem, and now Qualcomm will probably seek cooperation with TSMC.

But TSMC, on the other hand, has devoted its full production capacity to Apple’s 4-nanometer chips, and will probably give higher priority to the Cupertinos. All of this could eventually lead to fewer Galaxy S22 series handsets and shake Samsung’s position in the flagship smartphone market. However, at the moment everything is speculative and we have to wait and see what will happen in the future.
