The Galaxy S24 Ultra is likely to arrive with the Exynos 2400

While it was said that the flagships of the Galaxy S series will exclusively use Snapdragon chips next year, now it seems that the Galaxy S24 series will be equipped with the Exynos 2400 chip. Apparently, this chip will have 10 processing cores and will also provide users with high graphics power.

Samsung’s chipset division is working on a new chip and according to Today’s reportIt has also received the green light from the MX or Mobile Experience team to mass produce it. However, we don’t know if the Exynos 2400 will actually be used in the Galaxy S24 series.

Samsung apparently manufactures the chip with 4nm LPP lithography. On the other hand, it is said that this chip uses 10 processing cores, which includes one Cortex-X4 core along with two high-frequency Cortex-A720 cores. Finally, we will face three lower-frequency Cortex-A720 cores and four low-consumption Cortex-A520 cores.

a source It is claimed that the Exynos 2400 will use an RDNA2-based GPU with 6WGP, which will have four times the computing power of the Xclipse 920 GPU used in the Exynos 2200. Each WGP includes 2 computing units that provide users with a total of 12 units. Therefore, we have to deal with considerable graphic power.

Galaxy S24 Ultra with Exynos 2400 and 16 GB of RAM

Samsung will likely use the Exynos 2400 for the Galaxy S24 series; Of course, in some markets. This means, like in previous years, some users get access to the Exynos chip and some to the Snapdragon chip.

On the other hand, it is said that Samsung wants to increase the amount of RAM in the Galaxy S24 series. In this regard, we should expect 12 GB of RAM in the standard and Plus models, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra will also be equipped with 16 GB of RAM.

Considering that the Galaxy S24 series will be announced in January or February 2024, we will probably see the Exynos 2400 later this year. Of course, we have to point out that there is no guarantee for the introduction or use of this chip in next year’s Samsung flagships, and maybe the Koreans will make a different decision.
