The Galaxy S24 Ultra is likely to be similar to the iPhone 15 Pro in terms of image capture

According to a new report, it looks like the Galaxy S24 Ultra will take 24-megapixel photos by default instead of 12-megapixel images, to be similar to the iPhone 15 Pro models. This phone will probably be introduced in December.

A knowledgeable source named Ahmed Qwaider It has been claimed on the X social network that Samsung will record images in 24 megapixel mode by default in the Galaxy S24 Ultra. This default setting was previously set to 12MP.

The default resolution of images on the Galaxy S24 Ultra will change

It seems that the recording of 24 megapixel images in the iPhone 15 Pro series, which received a positive response from experts, has caused Samsung to offer a similar feature in its flagship. Considering that the Galaxy S24 Ultra uses a 200-megapixel main camera sensor, this change can have a significant effect on increasing the quality of images; But we have to wait to see how this feature will be implemented.

Qwaider also says that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will use a feature called Photo Remaster, which can correct images and provide more details with the help of artificial intelligence and image processing.

Through this feature, when you swipe up on the image, you will be faced with three options: Portrait, Remaster and Delete. Portrait option is used to create depth of field in normal images. The Remaster option can apply optimizations to images with a tap, and the Delete option is likely to be used to remove unnecessary elements from photos. This feature can be similar to Magic Eraser of Google phones.

This informed source also says that the Natural Density filter of DSLR cameras will come to the Galaxy S24 Ultra to enable control of various parameters, including shutter exposure; Of course, this feature is not completely new and was previously available in the Expert RAW Labs section of the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
