The General Directorate of Performing Arts is upset by the attitude of the “Theater House”

According to the theater correspondent of Fars News Agency, yesterday (Tuesday, March 15), a protest video of a member of the theater house was released in cyberspace. A video in which the artist complained about the theater house, to which he sent a support basket with goods that had expired. Some media outlets followed up with members of the theater board; But none of them gave the right answer.

After making more noise, the board of directors of the theater immediately issued a statement announcing that the support package had been sent to a small number of members and that if the artist did not want to return the packages to the theater, the theater would do the same. In an interview with a Fars News Agency reporter, Kazem Nazari said: “Khaneh Theater” complex is a private institutional association that is not under the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and the General Directorate of Performing Arts. We at the General Directorate of Performing Arts are very upset about what happened to the artists of our country, and unfortunately the theater house has not consulted with us on this issue.

He continued: “Our country’s artists are respected and close and should be respected, we should increase friendships in our country as much as we can.” I will personally pursue this issue.

The Director General of Performing Arts of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance stated: “These actions require sufficient measures and wrong decisions always cause resentment among artists.” This incident has upset not only the theater community of our country, but also the people.

“I took over the General Directorate of Performing Arts a few days ago and I have a lot of work to do,” Nazari said. But in this case, we have suggestions that, God willing, will come to fruition.
