The Geneva Motor Show was postponed again

Swiss officials have announced that the Geneva International Motor Show, one of the most important events in the international automotive industry, will take place next year due to issues related to the outbreak of the Corona virus next year. Will not be held.

They say the continued restrictions on the entry of passengers and tourists, as well as journalists, along with the crisis over the lack of electronic components, which has caused carmakers serious problems, are among the reasons why it is not possible to hold the Geneva Motor Show. The exhibition was not held in 2019 and 2020 due to the outbreak of the Corona virus.

“Despite all our efforts, we have to face reality,” said Maurice Tortini, secretary of the exhibition’s organizing committee.

“The outbreak of the corona virus is out of control and poses a great threat to indoor events,” he said.

“I am confident that the Geneva International Motor Show will be held in 2023 in a stronger way,” he said.
