The golden palm symbol has changed!

According to the Fars News Agency cinema reporter, quoting The Hollywood ReporterRenowned jewelry designer Chopard redesigned the Palme d’Or in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Cannes Film Festival.

Swiss luxury jewelry, led by Caroline Sch شوffle, will introduce this handmade symbol at this year’s closing night ceremony.

The Cannes Film Festival receives a special gift from Chopard to celebrate its 75th season – the Golden Palm with a new design.

The Swiss jeweler – one of the longtime sponsors who speaks of his 25-year partnership with the festival – has made a custom-made gold palm with double diamond leaves on a rose quartz base.

The new award, which will be presented at the closing ceremony, is the highest honor presented at the Cannes Film Festival, as it is awarded to the best film selected by the jury.

In the most important symbol of the Cannes Film Festival, a leaf with 75 diamonds and another with 25 diamonds, are decorated to commemorate the anniversary of the festival and Chopard’s participation in the cinema festival, respectively.

The rose quartz base, which replaces the traditional stone crystal cushion, is important because, according to Greek mythology, the pink gem is a powder with delicate veins that is said to have been made by Aphrodite, the goddess of beauty and love. According to Chopard, Rose Quartz has been chosen as a symbol of the “unconditional love that unites the festival with cinema.”
