The government’s priority is to develop foreign trade with neighboring countries, Southeast Asia and Africa


According to the economic reporter of Fars news agency, Seyyed Mehdi Niazi said today on the sidelines of the opening of the fifth exhibition of Iran’s export capabilities titled (Iran Expo 2023), stating that holding such an exhibition is rare, and stated: One of the approaches of the 13th government is extensive communication with different countries of the world. It is among the neighboring countries, Hamso and the region.

Acting Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade stated: More than 65 countries from different parts of the world will be present to visit this exhibition, so more than 1,200 economic activists, businessmen and industrialists from these 65 countries will visit the said exhibition, which is 35 thousand square meters will be held, they will attend and visit the industrial events of 12 product groups.

Niazi stated: One of Iran’s goals for holding such exhibitions is to develop export markets and develop relations with different countries and conquer new export markets, and therefore, we prioritized the development of trade with Southeast Asian countries, the African region, and neighboring countries.

He stated: We have defined detailed programs in the 3 days of the exhibition, which are about 600 events, and therefore negotiations were held with the authorities of different countries, as well as negotiations between the government officials of Iran and the business authorities of the invited countries, and conditions were provided for the economic activists of different countries. Have face-to-face meetings with our economic activists.

Acting Minister Samet said: We hope that this event will lead to positive results in the field of trade and we hope that we can conclude contracts that will be effective in the field of our commercial goals and export jump.

According to Fars Sobh report, the fifth exhibition of Iran’s export capabilities, titled Iran Expo 2023, was opened with the presence of Mehdi Niazi, Acting Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade, and Alireza Peyman Pak, Director General of Iran Trade Development Organization.

The fifth edition of this event will be held after a few years of hiatus for the presentation of export achievements, and foreign businessmen have been officially invited to attend the exhibition in order to make an agreement to purchase the goods by visiting the presented products.

12 product groups in different industries including petrochemical, knowledge base, medical equipment, construction, household appliances, industry, food and agriculture will be presented in this exhibition.
