Auction car buyers are still indecisive; The tax affairs organization, which held the auction for the sale of these cars last winter, has not given any explanation about the transfer of these cars.

According to Tejarat News, the continued indecisiveness of auction car buyers and the silence of tax officials is one of the important issues in the car market, which has become a challenging issue these days.

In the winter of last year, we saw the sale of several hundred foreign cars by the Tax Administration, but currently the buyers of these cars do not have the option of transferring, which has caused them confusion, however, the Tax Administration has not yet given an answer to this uncertainty.

It was the winter of last year that the tax affairs organization announced the seizure of 670 foreign cars belonging to an importing company with a tax debt of around 1200 billion tomans. In order to collect their demands, the tax affairs organization had seized the paper documents of these cars since 2018, but the original cars had not been discovered until then.

After the discovery of these cars, the tax affairs organization held an auction for the sale of these cars in order to enforce the rights of the government. However, this auction was not without margins. The first thing that came out about this auction was that this auction was done based on the traditional procedure and offering offers in the form of envelopes.

This was despite the fact that according to the law, all government auctions must be conducted through the headquarters system. Of course, it seems that the Tax Affairs Organization did not do this with the argument that this property belonged to a private company.

In spite of all the measures taken by Tehran’s General Directorate for Combating Tax Evasion in order to hold this auction, some rumors indicated that some dealers were able to enter the auction.

This auction, whose execution method was also challenged, has finally faced a new problem with the issuance of the decision of the Administrative Court of Justice. According to the decision of the third branch of the Administrative Court of Justice, the transfer of cars sold in this auction has faced problems.

This ruling, which was issued on May 11, has confused buyers who intend to sell their cars. In the meantime, despite the follow-ups and even the question regarding the challenge of the auction held from the head of the tax affairs organization, no answer has been given regarding its ambiguities, and it seems that the officials of this organization are not aware of this issue.
