The governor of Gilan visited the handicrafts exhibition of the Gilan Museum of Rural Heritage

According to the report of Aria Heritage, quoting the public relations of the General Directorate of Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Handicrafts of Gilan Province on April 27, 1401, Assadollah Abbasi, Governor of Gilan, accompanied by Nader Zeinali, Director General of the Parliamentary Affairs Office of the Ministry of Heritage, Culture and Tourism Gilan visited the cultural programs and handicrafts exhibition that has been set up at the site of this museum on the occasion of Nowruz.

On the sidelines of visiting this handicrafts exhibition, the governor of Gilan said: “It will prosper.”

Assadollah Abbasi added: “Setting up 38 handicraft exhibitions with more than 543 booths in different parts of Gilan province is a valuable opportunity to introduce the cultural assets of the people of Gilan province to domestic and foreign tourists.”

But Jahani also said on the sidelines of the visit, referring to the wide acceptance of Nowruz tourists to travel to Gilan province: “It has a growth of 32%.”

The director general of cultural heritage, tourism and handicrafts of Gilan province added: “Also, during this period, 907,685 people were registered overnight in permanent and temporary accommodation centers in the province, which shows a significant growth of 122 percent this year.”
