The Grand Mufti of Oman strongly supports the plan of the Consultative Council to sanction the Tel Aviv regime

According to the report of Fars News Agency International Group, Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al-Khalili, Grand Mufti of Oman, issued a statement on his Twitter page and announced that he strongly supported the plan of the consultative council of this country to sanction the Zionist regime.

According to Al-Khalij Online website, he wrote that the Zionist regime continues to enmity and widely violate the rights of the Palestinian people, and sanctioning this regime is in line with brotherhood among Muslims.

Sheikh Al-Khalili added: “As stated in the hadith Sharif; A Muslim is a brother of a Muslim, and he does not oppress him, and he does not abandon him if he is oppressed, and whoever fulfills the needs of his needy brother, Allah Almighty fulfills his needs, and whoever frees a Muslim from a calamity and problem, Allah The Almighty will remove a calamity from his calamities and troubles on the Day of Judgment, and whoever keeps a secret from a Muslim, Allah, the Most High, will keep a secret from him on the Day of Judgment.

On the 5th of January, the Royal Council of Oman referred the bill to amend Article 1 of the Zionist Sanctions Law to the Legislative and Legal Committee to complete the implementation steps.

“WAF” news agency quoted Yaqub al-Harithi, the vice-chairman of the Omani parliament, as writing that this proposal expands the scope of sanctions (severance of relations) that the mentioned article emphasizes and causes the scope of criminalization and sanctions of this regime to expand.

Harithi also said that this law, in its current form, prohibits any interaction with the Zionist regime, whether it is by individuals or legal entities.
