The statistics published by the Civil Registration Center show that 199,727 marriages have been registered in the country by the beginning of August this year, if the growth rate continues in the same way, about 600,000 marriages will take place in the country by the end of 1402. It means the formation of 600 thousand new demands in the housing market by the end of 1402. But with the current conditions, can the housing market respond to this created need?

Stagnation in construction and lack of housing

The problem of high prices and inflation has not only affected the purchasing power of people and the real estate transaction market, but has also plunged housing construction into recession for years, and many mass builders are no longer willing to build. The average area of ​​the infrastructure of this category of butterflies in the considered period was 1,204 square meters.

According to the data of the Statistics Center of Iran, which was recently published after several months of silence, in September this year, the average housing price in Tehran city reached 77 million tomans per square meter, and according to that, a Tehrani couple needs to spend more than four billion to buy a 60 square meter apartment. and spend 500 million tomans; While the salaries of the Ministry of Labor this year do not even reach eight million tomans, and providing housing is considered one of the basic needs of couples!

Therefore, it can be said that the issue of increasing population and encouraging marriage is also based on the long-standing habit of governments of planning, without considering the infrastructure, and in practice, it affects the country’s economy.
