The head of the judges of the Berlin festival was introduced
Oscar-winning Kenyan-Mexican actress and filmmaker Lupita Nyong’o will head the international jury at the Berlin Film Festival.

For her role in the movie “Twelve Years a Slave” directed by “Steve McQueen”, she has received the Oscar Award for Best Supporting Actress, Screen Actors Guild Award, Critics’ Choice Award, Spirit Award, etc.
“Nyongo” was recently the executive producer of the Sudanese film “Goodbye Julia” directed by “Mohammed Kordfani” which was selected by the Sudanese Cinema Committee, which operates in exile, to compete in the international film category of the Oscar 2024.
The 74th Berlin International Film Festival will be held in Germany from 5 to 25 February 2024 (26 February to 6 March).
