The head of the Museum of Glass and Pottery was introduced

According to Aria Heritage, citing the public relations of the Heritage, Culture and Tourism Research Institute, the introductory ceremony of the new director of the Museum of Glass and Pottery was held in the presence of Mohsen Saadati, Deputy Minister of Heritage and Culture of Tehran Province.

While appreciating the performance of Hamid Vakilbashi during his tenure as director of the Museum of Glass and Pottery, the Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage of Tehran Province said: “The Museum of Glass should be a place for research and introduction of the art of glass and pottery.”

“The Museum of Glass and Pottery is expected to have a close relationship with scientific and academic centers while developing interaction with other museums,” Saadati said.

PhD in Archeology of Historical Period, Teaching at the University, Attending Several Seasons of Exploration of the Archaeological Sites of the Country, Plan to Form Ancient Glass of Iran and 12 Years of Scientific and Research Work on Ancient Glass and the Islamic Period, which resulted in the publication of several articles and books. Ancient Glass Technology and the History of Glass and Glassware, Parthian Glassware of the National Museum and Reza Abbasi are a selection of scientific and research activities of the new director of the Museum of Glass and Pottery of Iran.
