The head of the Supreme Council of the Calligraphers Association said: Every decade, calligraphy has a replacement for its veterans

According to the visual reporter of Fars news agency, the opening ceremony of the 9th solo exhibition of Mohammad Javad Shekohifar was held in the art gallery of Farhangsarai Arsbaran, with the presence of veterans and prominent calligraphy artists, including Gholamhossein Amirkhani, Mohammad Javadzadeh, Mohammad Ali Ghorbani and other veterans of this authentic Iranian art.

Gholamhossein Amirkhani, after viewing the works of this exhibition, which has been exposed to the eyes of the interested, said: As a family, we had the opportunity to serve in the artistic cultural flow of the country in the art of calligraphy. An art that has become our birth certificate today and the greats and geniuses of this art have given quality to its works.

He added: Calligraphy is an art that is combined with mystical, philosophical and historical literature. A work can be considered a work of art when the viewer is absorbed in watching it and the concepts of that work penetrate into his mind and heart.

Citing an example of the art of music and the lack of replacement of a few talented artists, Amirkhani said: “There are no good and capable replacements for the veterans of that art in any art, for example, so far no one has been able to introduce a replacement for the late Jalil Shahnaz, a musician with the name tarnavazi. . But calligraphy is an art that has powerful substitutes for previous generations in every decade.

He continued: Love for this art and its spirituality removes the feeling of fatigue from the bodies of its artists.
