Mahmoud Gudarzi said: We conducted negotiations with one of the financial institutions in order to be able to launch a “risk hedge fund”, a fund that has not been used in the capital market so far.

He stated: Currently, the Tehran Stock Exchange has used the “Stock Futures” tool to start work on three symbols: Shasta, Tehran Refinery and Saderat Bank’s Gam bonds, and by the end of the year, the Tehran Stock Exchange will have 30 major symbols that make up 80% of the market value. They say that they will use these bonds according to their maturity dates.
The CEO of Tehran Stock Exchange said: We have negotiated with one of the financial institutions to be able to launch a “Risk Hedging Fund”, a fund that has not been used in the capital market so far. Also, the head of the stock exchange organization has also announced his agreement to grant a license for the said fund.
Gudarzi stated: By obtaining the license, Tehran Stock Exchange will introduce the first hedge fund to the capital market.
He said: With the addition of these tools, the complex and specialized portfolio of the Tehran Stock Exchange will be completed.
The CEO of Tehran Stock Exchange said: Those who are interested in bearing a level of risk, but do not have enough knowledge to use tools such as stock futures, can use these funds.
Goderzi said: “There are specialists from financial institutions in these funds who use trading tools with a high risk level for trading in the capital market.”
He stated: The investment managers of the hedge fund invest in instruments such as options, futures and other high-risk instruments, and investors can benefit from its benefits by purchasing the units of this fund.
In the end, Gooderzi said: normal investors should not go directly to these tools; Because these tools have a high level of risk and require minimal financial knowledge.
