* Iran’s hottest week in the last 11 years is coming

*Increasing temperature and 2 challenges for the electricity industry

At the same time as the heat increases, the peak electricity consumption will also reach its maximum due to the increase in the use of cooling devices, and saving people in electricity consumption can significantly contribute to the stability of the country’s electricity network.

On the other hand, the increase in temperature causes the efficiency of thermal power plants to decrease due to thermodynamic reasons and the supply of electricity is challenged. On this basis, these two factors cause the electricity industry to face a challenge, and to overcome this challenge, it is necessary to manage household electricity consumption by people.

In this regard, in order to increase people’s motivation to save electricity, a savings bonus scheme and payment of a bonus equal to 20 times the electricity sales rate to the people has been put on the agenda, and in the first month of this plan’s implementation, 35% of household subscribers have received more than 220 billion tomans in bonuses. have taken.
