The Huawei Matebook X Pro 2022 and Matebook E laptops were introduced

Huawei was one of the first companies to unveil its hardware products at the MWC event. The company’s two Windows 11 laptops, the Huawei Matebook X Pro 2022 and the Matebook E, were introduced at the event. The X Pro 2022, as its name implies, is the company’s portable flagship and a 2-in-1 Windows compact Ebook. But let’s take a look at the specifications of this notebook.

Huawei Matebook X Pro 2022

This laptop uses a 14.2-inch IPS LCD touch screen with a resolution of 3120 x 2080 pixels. The refresh rate of this display is 90 Hz and its aspect ratio is 3: 2. Huawei has said that this is the best panel used in a laptop to date. The brightness of this display is up to 500 nits and can cover the entire P3 color space.

The top edge of the screen is only 6 mm, and the good thing is that the HD webcam on the Huawei Matebook X Pro 2022 laptop has been moved to this top edge. The body of this device is made of metal and it weighs only 1.38 kg. At the thickest point, the new Matebook X Pro is only 15.5 mm thick. Huawei has also equipped this laptop with six speakers.

The beating heart of this device is the 11th generation Intel rocket launcher with integrated Iris Xe graphics. The highest version of this ultrabook will come with 16 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 1 TB of M2 SSD. The cooling system of this laptop also includes three air inlets, two shark wing fans and a steam pipe.

Huawei has included 4 USB-C ports (two USB 3.2 ports) and a 3.5 mm headphone jack for its portable laptop. The Matebook X Pro 2022 with a 90 watt GaN USB-C charge will hit the market and weighs 180 grams.

It is supposed that Matebook X Pro 2022 Huawei will enter the European market with a price of 1899 Euros.

Huawei Matebook E

The MateBook is a 2 in 1 (laptop / tablet) Windows that will probably catch your eye. This Windows 11 tablet will be able to turn into a laptop through a case equipped with a keyboard that will be bundled with the device itself.

The Matebook E comes with a 12.6-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. The selfie camera of this device is 8 megapixels and its main camera is 13 megapixels. The thickness of this tablet is 7.9 mm and it weighs 709 grams. The camera frame of this tablet is made of magnesium alloy and the glass frame on the back has an interesting texture.

This 2-in-1 laptop will come with 11th generation Intel i7 and i5 chipsets with Iris Xe graphics. 16.8 GB of RAM and 512.256 GB of PCIe NVMe SSD are also provided for it. One of the negative points of this device is its input-output ports. The Matebook E only has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C port, the second port of which supports Thunderbolt 4.

Other features include WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, 42-watt-hour battery, 65-watt charger, and microphone and quad speakers. The Ebook also supports the second-generation Huawei M-Pencil.

The Huawei Matebook E 2-in-1 in the most basic version with Intel i3 processor with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of memory will cost 649 euros. The i5 / 8GB / 256GB version will be available at a price of 999 Euros. Finally, the 165,512GB version, which also comes with the Smart Magnetic Keyboard, will be available with an Intel i5 processor for € 1199 and an Intel i7 for € 1399.
