The identifying element of the art of the revolution is nothing but a reference to nature


According to Fars News Agency, Mohammad Ali Rajabi Davani, a thinker, writer, researcher in the field of philosophy of art and aesthetics, who won the Islamic Revolution Art Prize for writing and publishing books on epic visualization and good practice and advancing the “Natural Art” research project, about his works. He said: “It seemed to us that the founding artists in the art of the Islamic Revolution should have lectures in the visual part and share their experiences of how they came forward with the revolution and progressed in this direction.” I also taught the arts of painting and painting, and I brought all of this with an introduction to the book Epic Visualization.

He added: “The book of epic embodiment is the first book of revolutionary art discourses narrated by visual artists and has been collected and is to continue in the Art and Culture Research Institute so that this can happen in all fields because the art of the revolution is due to the art and efforts of its artists today.” It has reached a point where all the old students and teenagers are great masters of our arts and can teach what they have experienced.

This thinker stated: One of our old traditions in Islamic culture was description and margin. Instead of writing a new book, some people described the glorious works and marginalized them because our elders always told a part of the truth and attached a part of it to the future so that the future could elaborate on them and find a new way. Researchers were tasked with reading and developing the works of the greats. Unfortunately, now we rarely see them describe and marginalize, and I said that this should be done in the field of art, because the place that was created for the revolution believes in the revolution and the artist revolutionaries are gathered in it, it is for God and not for showing off. To revive what has been, and to lay the foundations of betterness, that is why I described two treatises of Sarat al-Satour and Madad al-Qatur by our great Shiite artists Sultan Ali Mashhadi and Mir Ali Heravi from the point of view of a painter. These descriptions have been written and published in the book of good exercises.

Rajabi Davani announced: What is the art of the revolution and what gives it its identity? We realized that the identifying element of this art is nothing but referring to nature, and all the orders of our great Imam and our leader are that people should be invited to nature, because if they return to their nature, because human nature is divine nature, and God said nature. All are created by the nature of God, so they reach the status of unity, differences disappear and peace, compromise and goodness take over the world. We should do the same in art, but where can we find the basics of nature? For over 17 years, I did very detailed research on children’s art with a team of students and friends of the artist. I saw that the best source for finding the basics of children’s nature is because they are present and express the pure inner human being, so in fact they are considered pure nature, so if we go to them and examine their works, we will reach the basics of nature.

He continued: My team and I did a lot of work. We reviewed more than 79,000 picture sheets, 14,000 story sheets, and 300,000 children’s drawings, and translated many books, the most important of which is the Children’s Art Analysis Book. My daughter Zeinab Rajabi translated this book.

The researcher in the field of philosophy of art said: “We based the collection of all our possessions to get the answer to our innate question through children’s drawings, and we came to the conclusion that their collection will come in the book and research of” natural art “to provide a basis for correct and wise knowledge of art.” Revolutions, especially in the field of painting, become my specialty.

Rajabi Davani said: The name of the field of art was initially the field of Islamic art and thought, unfortunately the word thought was removed from the name of this field and this created many problems, but fortunately it feels that the new management pays much attention to this field because Thought is the basis of every movement. Now that the field of art is doing research, we have to do research in two ways: fundamentals and performance. The first way is to study and read the works of art of the revolution scientifically, as long as the artists are alive. The second way is to have research on fundamental principles that in the future will help artists who are in the stage of artistic self-awareness to be able to present more glorious works with the main facts of the revolution.
