These days, a lot of news is heard about Ryzen 7000 series based on AMD’s Zen 4 architecture. In the past week, we found out that the red team plans to officially unveil the Ryzen 7000 series at the end of August. As a result, and with the time of the unveiling approaching, an image of the Ryzen 7 7700X octa-core processor was spotted on the Anandtech forum, which confirms the previous information. First of all, we should note that this is the first time we see the image of a Ryzen 7000 series desktop processor with code 100-000000591 up close. The Ryzen 7 7700X is expected to be priced lower compared to the $449 Ryzen 7 5800X processor. While the source of this image is still unknown, we are guessing that this photo is related to the review version that is generally available to reputable publishers and sites.

An X670E or X670 motherboard is likely to be used to test and review this processor, as the B650(E) series will be available from October. As you can see in the image below, the Ryzen 7 7700X desktop processor based on the Zen 4 architecture has a square geometric shape (45×45 mm).

The technical specifications of this model include 8 cores and 16 threads. AMD has tried to make this processor a great choice for gamers, that’s why we see a base frequency of 4.5 GHz and a boost frequency of 5.4 GHz for the Ryzen 7 7700X processor. Also, this version is equipped with 32 MB of L3 cache memory and 8 MB of L2 cache memory from Zen 4 cores.

The Ryzen 7000 processor series will be unveiled by AMD on August 29 (7 September) and will be released to the market after one month, i.e. the end of September.
