The importance of culture in digital transformation

According to the financial news report, quoted by the public relations department of Tejarat Bank, Morteza Turktabrizi, the vice-chairman of the board of directors of Tejarat Bank, pointed to culture and education in the field of digital transformation in the specialized meeting of digital transformation and said: digital banking consists of several bases and fintech, data and customer experience. They are the most important. In all banks of the country, there is at least one of these gaps, and therefore we cannot consider them as an innovative group based on digital transformation. Banks alone cannot create digital transformations, and it is necessary to join hands with fintechs and companies that are active in this field so that effective steps can be taken in the banking industry.
The vice chairman of the board of directors explained about the causes of this issue: the country’s banks are strictly regulated; The upstream institutions do not allow the banks to cooperate with the innovative groups and their attention is only to regulate different issues such as assets, liabilities, fees and payment limits.
Turk Tabrizi pointed out the importance of digital banking tools and added: In addition to capable experts, digital banking requires an efficient database and infrastructure. At the same time, supervision without guidance cannot have its effect in this field and branches must be controlled with artificial intelligence.
He pointed to making all banking services offline through applications and said: In Tejarat Bank, special customer service applications are designed and customer requests are made through these applications. This process will accelerate in the near future until customers no longer have to visit bank branches in person.
Turk Tabrizi stated that Bank Tejarat has reduced a significant number of its branches in the path of digital transformation and controls all transactions with artificial intelligence. He said: This bank is on a path where the customer does not need to go to branches to receive any service. Tejarat Bank has transferred all its micro-facility services to the Budget application, and issuing promissory notes and bills electronically is also on the agenda.
The vice-chairman of the board of directors pointed to the reconciliation of the actors of this industry and said: system coordination has not been done between banks and fintechs as it should be, and if these two groups cannot cooperate effectively, no effective steps can be taken in the path of transformation.
In the end, he added: In order to compete with the world’s first-rate banks, banks must appear on the scene by reducing costs and providing more favorable services and designing new services in the financial and banking fields.
