The increase of water inflow to the dams of Tehran/Rabbe 1 reached the level of water storage in the Mamlo dam

According to the economic correspondent of Fars news agency, based on the information received from the Iran Water Resources Management Company, the recent rainfall in Tehran dams up to the date of August 9, in a total of 5 dams in Tehran province, led to an increase in inflow by 12.7 million cubic meters.

Based on this, the highest recorded amount of inflow into Tehran’s dams belonged to Mamlo dam in the northeast of Tehran with an inflow of 6 million cubic meters. Based on this, Lar, Taleghan, Letian and Amirkabir dams have received 2.5, 2.3, 1.5 and 0.4 million cubic meters respectively.

Due to the continuation of rains in the past day, it is expected that the inflow of the country’s dams affected by this rain will exceed the current statistics.

In this regard, optimal use of created water resources can provide the basis for creating favorable water conditions for the country. Earlier, in an order to the operational forces of the water industry, the Minister of Energy had called for the management of the situation in order to make maximum use of the water resources created by the recent rains.
