Seven dyeing and fabric finishing factories in Isfahan city were sealed due to continued activity with environmental pollution.
According to Moj news agency
General Department of Protection the environment Isfahan province announced: Following the legal action against the polluting units, four dyeing and fabric finishing factories were sealed in the protection area of Isfahan city.
In another action, three other fabric dyeing and finishing factories were also sealed by the experts of this department after going through legal procedures.
Unauthorized establishment and activities combined with pollution have led to sealing and preventing the activity of these industrial units. Such measures are taken to prevent the increase of environmental pollution and health problems for people and living beings.
The General Department of Environmental Protection of Isfahan province has also announced the issuance of 24 pollution removal notices during the past week following the intensification of the round-the-clock monitoring plan of the industries of Isfahan city.
