The International Gold and Jewelry Festival is held in Bukhara
According to Aria Heritage, by Decree No. 5098 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on April 29, 2021, from 2022, Bukhara will host the International Festival of Gold and Jewelry every two years in September. In this festival, various competitions, exhibitions, concert and theater programs, cultural, educational and propaganda events, scientific and practical conferences, and with the theme of “the development perspective of goldsmithing and traditional jewelry” will be held.
The jury will consist of seven art critics, experts, scientists, folklore professors, academics and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh, Tashkent Regional and Municipal Offices, the Uzbek Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Association of Uzbek Workers and the Academy of Sciences.
The works of the participants of the international competition will be examined in 12 disciplines and will be awarded to “Best Embroidery Organization”, “Best Jewelry Organization”, “Best Goldsmith”, “Best Jeweler”, “Best”, “Best Master of Embroidery School”, “Best Master of Jewelry School” “The successor of the ancient dynasty in goldsmithing”, “The successor of the ancient dynasty in jewelry”, “The revivalist goldsmith of ancient traditions”, “The revivalist jeweler of ancient traditions” “The youngest skilled jeweler” and “The youngest skilled jeweler” Cash prizes (between 3 and 5 thousand dollars) Is granted.
