The iPhone survived the fall from a height of 4 km + video

Drop testing iPhones or any other smartphone is usually done from a maximum height of 6 meters. But what will happen if these devices fall from a higher height? To answer this question, a skydiver recently fell from a height of approx 4 km jumped. In the video below, you can see this incident and how the iPhone reacts to falling from such a distance.
The mentioned skydiver, whose name is “Houghton Smith”, video of his experience In Tik Tok shared. As seen in the video below, Smith’s iPhone is taken out of his back pocket right after he jumps out of the plane. However, his iPhone was unscathed even after falling from a height of 4.5 km, probably at a speed of more than 160 km/h at the time.

He also mentioned in the comments section of his video that he used the Catalyst case for his iPhone. Therefore, if his phone did not have a protective case, we can expect serious damage. Also, instead of landing on hard surfaces like rock or hard dirt, the phone landed in a swampy and muddy area.
There have been various reports of iPhones being dropped from very high heights, but this case seems to be one of the most notable, as in it, the Apple phone fell from a much higher height. For example, one of the earlier reports was about an iPhone 10 surviving a 3.35km drop.
