The Iranian and Iraqi ambassadors in Moscow discussed developments in the region

According to IRNA, the Iranian embassy in Russia announced on Saturday that the meeting between Jalali and Hamid al-Husseini was held on Friday and the two sides discussed bilateral issues, especially in the field of cooperation between the two countries in the fight against terrorism, the internal situation in Iraq, Syria and Ukraine. They exchanged views.

During the meeting, the two sides stressed the role of General Qassem Soleimani in the fight against international terrorism in Iraq and Syria and the establishment of security and stability in the Middle East.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides also expressed their desire to continue their contacts and meetings on issues of mutual interest.

The Islamic Republic of Iran and Iraq have very close relations and cooperation between the two countries in important areas such as security, politics, economy and energy is expanding.
