The Iranian embassy in Kabul condemned the terrorist attack on the Mazar-e-Sharif mosque


The Iranian embassy in Kabul condemned today’s explosion at a Shiite mosque in Mazar-e-Sharif.

The embassy wrote in a message: “Once again, the dirty and criminal hands of Takfiri terrorists were stained with the blood of the Muslim and fasting people of Afghanistan during the holy month of Ramadan, and this time in Mazar-e-Sharif. “While strongly condemning this terrorist attack, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran wishes the martyrs of this incident all the best and best wishes for patience and divine reward for the survivors.”

According to Fars, 30 people were martyred and 80 others were injured in a terrorist attack on the Sahdakan Mosque in the northern Afghan city of Mazar-e-Sharif today. (Read here)

The explosion took place during prayers. This mosque is the largest Shiite mosque in Mazar-e-Sharif, which is located in a crowded place.

Meanwhile, the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran reacted to today’s terrorist acts in several cities of Afghanistan and expressed his concern about these tragic events. (More details)

The attack came two days ago when a Shiite training center in western Kabul was attacked by terrorists, killing 26 students.
