Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian will visit Syria for the second time.
According to Sputnik, the Syrian newspaper Al-Watan reported on the visit of Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdolhian to Damascus.
On Friday night, the newspaper reported on the visit of the Iranian Foreign Minister to Damascus and wrote that Hossein Amir Abdolhian will arrive in Damascus on Saturday from Lebanon for his second visit to Syria on Saturday, after taking office as the Iranian Foreign Minister.
According to Al-Watan, Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Miqdad will welcome his Iranian counterpart and his accompanying delegation at Damascus Airport.
It is said that during his visit, the Iranian Foreign Minister will discuss the latest developments in the region and the world and the strategic relations between the two countries in talks with Syrian officials in Damascus.
Prior to his visit to Beirut, the Iranian foreign minister arrived in Moscow on Tuesday evening last week and met with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov on Wednesday to discuss a wide range of bilateral and regional issues.
