The Jam network helped the cinema, but the radio and television ….

The broadcaster of “Parents on Trust” stressed that the devices that can be effective in promoting cinema should not cut off the connection between people and this art. To promote movies so that cinema can flourish?
Theater News Base: The restrictions imposed by RFE / RL on the promotion of films being screened are not new, and filmmakers have been complaining for years of taste and discrimination in the promotion of films and teasers, but in the current situation after two years of stagnation due to the corona outbreak in cinemas. Even though the boom of half and half has not returned to the theaters, the information from the television could have had a great impact. This non-cooperation, contrary to the promises made by the new directors, has created a hostile image for some filmmakers.
Habib Ismaili, who is currently screening the film “Parents on Trust” and “For Marjan”, said that he had tried to broadcast the teaser on TV before the screening, but nothing happened with the screening of the film. The film started on June 7, but we provided the teaser a week earlier so that TV officials could see that there was no news. In general, we have not seen a good performance from them in these few times, while due to the coronary conditions, the radio and television had to support the domestic cinema and the private sector. Unfortunately, the distribution of film commercials is limited and often limited to inappropriate times if the television belongs to the people and it is the duty of this media to support it due to the damage done to the cinema in the last two years.
He added: “There are many filmmakers and investors who did not seek brokerage and commercial work, and it is necessary to support them, not to broadcast the teaser until the film reaches the last days of release.” Sometimes it is said that they have distributed a few billion tomans of teasers and it may be thought how many there were, but when you look, you see that it was not more than seven or eight teasers.
In response to the decision he made to release this period, he said: “About 200 films are left behind and the films need to be shown.” If we want to say that this is not a good time to screen, we must also think about what happens to the cinema. Cinemas need food, and now that cinemas are still there after two or three years, it is our duty to support and screen films in a situation where we know that the economic situation of the people is not good, but cinema is a pastime anyway. But I still do not know what kind of enmity and hostility there is with cinema that is treated this way.
“Everybody works in this country and the movies that are shown belong to this country and this TV is for the same people,” said the cinema producer and broadcaster. And how effective it was, but for some reason that connection was cut off and we look forward to being supported through our own television, which is not going to happen. Nowadays, except for our colleagues and the media people in the field of cinema, most people do not know what on-screen movies are or, for example, the screening of new movies has started. In that way, there is no more advertising on the street and in the cinema, and some people only have monitors that show teasers of movies, so it is really a question for me that if a movie is advertised, people will go to watch it, cinema will prosper. Find and encourage the producer to make other films What happens? Is this a bad thing? Does it belong to the enemy?
Ismaili added: “We thought that the new director of the Radio and Television would come and the situation would not be the same as before and good things would happen, especially considering the meeting that the cinema house and other cinema agents had with the new directors, but unfortunately there is no listening ear. They are inspected along with the film, while the films are licensed by the Ministry of Culture (Islamic Guidance), which has representatives from different organizations with different views on the screening council, so they no longer need to review them in a place like TV. But unfortunately this is happening.
“Unfortunately, many people do not know about the screening because it is natural that the support of media such as the Radio and Television and the municipality is very important in informing,” he concluded. , But in the urban advertising section, cinema people are not in a position to be able to pay more than 200 million tomans for urban billboards.
