Alireza Mahyar, a member of the board of directors and vice president of information technology and communication network of the National Bank of Iran, said at the opening ceremony of the new branch of Finodad (Innovation Center of the National Bank of Iran) at Khorezmi University, according to the financial news report, citing the public relations of the National Bank of Iran. The identity authentication and digital signature projects were very time-consuming, but this project was put into operation in three months with the cooperation of Khwarazmi University, and now the National Bank of Iran is the first bank in the country to own the identity authentication and digital signature.
In this ceremony, Mahyar informed about the readiness to accept teams active in the fields of artificial intelligence, data analysis and machine learning in the innovation center of this bank and added: the connection between innovation centers and fintechs can be the foundation of this center and better experiences should be made with other startups. and acquire fintechs.
Emphasizing that we are ready to cooperate in various fields of artificial intelligence and machine learning, he said: 30% of the country’s transactions belong to the National Bank of Iran, and with this large amount of data, we are also ready to cooperate in the field of data analysis.
Ali Hassan Beigi, president of Khwarazmi University, stated that the mission of this university is to support elites, researchers and knowledge-based companies, and stated that 70 knowledge-based companies are supported by Khwarazmi University.
He explained about the gap between science production and technology use in Iran: Iran’s science production rank is 15 and the science and technology use rank is 70. This means that we are capable of more than this. All academic centers should try to minimize the distance and using the potential of young people in this direction can be very effective.
Amirhossein Shabiri, the CEO of Finodad, emphasized that it is our duty to be present alongside the country’s elite society and universities, and said: We must create a space so that if anyone has an idea and a plan, they can use the capacities of the National Bank in terms of market and investment. .
He emphasized: “Our view is not to take a few thousand meters of space and call everyone, but we ourselves go to the place where the talents of the country are present.” In this short period of time, we have cooperated with several start-up groups in the field of financial technologies, and we plan to further develop cooperation with Khwarazmi University by launching this innovation center.
