According to Fars International News Agency, Ireland’s Foreign Minister has predicted that the European Union will impose a new sanctions package against Iran next week.

The spokesperson of the French Foreign Ministry said that the new European Union sanctions against Iran will target individuals and institutions involved in the “suppression of Iranian protests” and institutions active in sending Iranian drones to Russia.

The action of the European countries is the latest step by these countries to keep alive the fire of unrest in Iran.

The European Union has imposed two sanctions packages against Iran since October.
