He further clarified about the book “Shadow Play”: This cultural book in the field of children and adolescents has been translated and published by Irin Gharibpour. It is recommended that even schools or educational centers for children and adolescents use this book because it shows shadows in a simple, fluent and dynamic way. The book also focuses on reusing disposable items and making dolls.
Another book published and the result of Hossein Farokhi’s research is called the third volume of the book “Iranian Playwrights”, which is a very good step for collecting plays. This book covers the period from 1978 to 1999 and is good and useful for researchers and students of theater disciplines.
Namayesh Publishing House has also published two plays, one of which is “The Heart of Fire” written by Chista Yathribi, which shows an original adaptation of ancient Iranian literature. And two plays in a book written by Hossein Fazlollahi entitled “Jal Poshtha” and “Wrestler with a Bear”. Each of these plays had good performances but never reached the audience.

Hossein Fazlollahi, the author of the book “In front of the backs – wrestler with a bear” also said about this: “I wrote these plays about 20 years ago and based on them, many theaters have gone on stage.” I have been doing theater work for 40 years. The first play I wrote was The Wrestler with the Bear, and two years later I wrote The Front of the Bears. I am glad that after 26 years, these plays are still welcomed and published by reputable publications.
Fazlullahi emphasized: In the last few years, when I watch theaters regularly, I am upset that there is no drama in most of the plays. Most works are reminiscent, while theater should be based on drama.
The final speaker of the ceremony was Behrouz Gharibpour, the director of puppet theaters. I never said I wished I could choose another job, of course there were many difficulties in front of me, but the stage always gave me motivation and strength. “Shadow play” is several thousand years old. That is, it has been a shadow since light. Among our elders, Attar and Khayyam also have direct references to shadow play. Plato also paid attention to this art. I ask Kazem Nazari, the director general of the performing arts, to support shading, taziyeh, etc., because if there is no support in this regard, these arts will disappear.
