The launch date of the Huawei P60 series and the Mate X3 foldable phone has been officially announced


In recent weeks, we have seen the disclosure of a lot of information about the future flagships of Huawei, and now Huawei has announced the official introduction of the P60 series along with the Mate X3 folding phone on March 13 (April 3, 1402).

Huawei has announced that it will be unveiling its latest flagships on March 23 at 2:30 p.m. China time, releasing a poster featuring the ocean. The P60 series is expected to include standard, pro and ultra models.

Possible specifications of the Huawei P60 series

According to rumors, the P60 series phones will be equipped with XMAGE photography technology from Huawei and we will face the second version of this technology. The Pro model is equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX888 main camera, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX858 ultra-wide camera, and a 64-megapixel Omnivison OV64B telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom.

Huawei P60 Pro is likely to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 generation 2 chip and the standard model of this family with the Snapdragon 8 Plus 1 generation chip, although both of them only support the 4G network and there will be no news of the 5G network.

Other possible specifications of Huawei P60 Pro include a 6.6-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 1440p. Also, this device is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with 100W fast charging support.

Currently, not much information about the Huawei Mate X3 has been released, but we expect it to be equipped with a 2K resolution display. This device will also have one of Qualcomm’s flagship chips, however, it will not support 5G network.

According to the rumours, we should probably expect a 4800 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support and a 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera. Huawei Mate X3 and P60 series will be launched with the latest version of Harmony OS.
