The legend of French cinema was accused of sexual assault for the second time

The Hollywood Reporter reported that Daras is the second woman to publicly accuse Depardieu of sexual assault. Charlotte Arnold also accused the 74-year-old actor of “rape” in 2018. Arnold’s case is currently in court and Depardieu has denied all charges.

Daras stated in an interview that at the age of 26, while he was playing a role in the movie “Disco” directed by Fabien Ontinente, he was harassed by Depardieu, who played a supporting role.

“He looked at me like I was a piece of meat.” Daras said about Depardieu. He added that Depardieu then came to him and put his hand on his body.

Daras has claimed that he did not report this position at that time due to fear of his future career.

The prosecutor of Paris confirmed the news of the complaint against Depardieu on Thursday. According to AFP, investigators are currently reviewing the case to determine whether there is a need for an investigation.

Depardieu faces numerous sexual accusations, some of which date back decades. Earlier this year, 13 women accused the famous French actor of “sexually inappropriate behavior or statements” on the set of 11 films or series between 2004 and 2022 or elsewhere.
