The list of selected Arbaeen currency supply branches was announced

According to Iran Economist, the central bank has put measures on its agenda for the issue of the currency of Arbaeen Hosseini pilgrims so that these pilgrims can go to this pilgrimage with the least difficulty.

In this regard, Mohammad Reza Farzin, the head of the central bank, says: Unlike the previous years, when pilgrims were given dollars or euros, this year pilgrims will be paid 200,000 dinars.

Before this, the conditions of receiving and distributing the Arbaeen currency were announced as follows:

1- Sale of foreign currency (banknotes) to pilgrims in the form of Iraqi dinars in the maximum amount of 200 thousand Iraqi dinars per pilgrim at the selling rate of ETS banknotes, whose Rial equivalent is about 62 to 65 million Rials.

2- Sale of currency to pilgrims over 5 years old, from 05/28/1402 to 06/14/1402

3- Currency sales in selected branches of National Banks of Iran, Saderat, Tejarat, Parsian, Sepeh and Postbank

4- The sale of currency to pilgrims does not create any restrictions on the sale of travel currency for applicants this year.

5- Heads of households with identity documents (national card and birth certificate of head of household and national card of household members) and valid passport (or Arbaeen traffic card) of the pilgrim can purchase Arbaeen currency through designated banks.

6- The sale of foreign currency will be done only to pilgrims who have registered in the Samah system and received the permission to buy foreign currency (relevant tracking code).

According to the report, applicants can go to selected branches of Tejarat Bank, Melli Iran, Sepeh, Saderat, Parsian and Post Bank to receive Arbaeen currency.
