According to Apple’s component maker in the United States, professional customers and buyers of Apple MacBooks have no contact with the touch bar above the keyboard of these laptops and are more interested in the same physical connection with the function keys. In fact, users are interested in touching the function or operational keys, and this is the reason why the function keys return to the MacBooks of 2021. Of course, it should also be borne in mind that Apple has not fully listened to the professionalism of users and has designed its function keys by combining touch bar design and function keys so that neither skewers nor barbecues burn.
Removed the MacBook Touch Bar, according to an Apple official
In an interview with Wired magazine, Greg Joswiak, Apple’s director of marketing and product marketing around the world, made a few critical points, the most important of which was the removal of the touch bar at the request of professional Apple users. Apple responded to the request by noting that the vast majority of professional users of Apple MacBooks wanted the keys returned to MacBooks.
Undoubtedly, the majority of users of our professional laptops wanted the keys back and were excited to see them in full and large sizes. We do our best to create this feeling in our users and we did the same.
When users opened a program, they saw that the touch bar showed them the options specific to that program, and this was different from the hard function keys. In fact, Touch Bar was a very stylish and elegant feature that many MacBook users could not cope with. Although Apple has made efforts to address this by adding Siri-specific shortcuts and other function keys, there is still no difference in how users interact with Touch Bar. Of course, Apple has not forgotten its other users (who love touch bar) and they can still buy Apple M1 laptops to use Touch Bar, and by the way, Apple has offered exciting discounts for them.
Another thing to keep in mind is that Apple does not simply back down from its decisions, and there must be a reason for it. Apple’s new MacBooks perform their tasks faster and more accurately, and removing the touch bar will make it easier to access them or perform moving figures. On the other hand, the additional costs of this touch screen will be reduced, and on the other hand, Apple’s operating keys will be displayed to users with a new appearance in the form of operating keys. So this is a win-win game where both Apple has not completely retreated from its old design and users have achieved what they wanted.
