The marriage loan for young people under 25 years old is 350 million tomans
According to Iran Economist, in line with the law to support the youth of the population, in the marriage loan budget bill for young men under 25 years of age and girls under 23 years of age, an amount of 350 million tomans has been proposed in the Consolidation Commission, and 300 million tomans has been proposed for other applicants. This issue was stated by Seyed Mohsen Dehnavi, a member of the Integration Commission and a representative of Tehran.
He said: “Like last year, the Planning and Budget Organization removed the payment of marriage and childbearing facilities from the budget bill and gave its authority to the Money and Credit Council, but the Consolidation Commission supports the marriage loan in line with the law on the protection of the youth of the population.”
According to Fars report, one of the problems of young people in getting a marriage loan is providing the official guarantor and collateral required by the banks, which is usually difficult to find an official employee or property collateral due to the youth of the couple. On the other hand, in order to pay marriage loans to young married people, banks must make sure that the applicants can pay the loan installments. Currently, for many young couples, a marriage loan is a necessary prelude to getting married and starting a family.
About 850,000 marriages are formed in the country every year, and most of them get the basic necessities of life through marriage loans.
