Ayatollah Raisi emphasized on following up the approvals of the National Pilgrimage Working Group and said: We must accurately estimate the needs of Mashhad and the pilgrims and have a specific schedule to meet them.
He considered the construction of new parking lots on the routes leading to the holy shrine of Mashhad to be one of the needs of the transport sector of Mashhad and stated: We need an urgent investigation to build at least four parking lots on the roads leading to the holy shrine of Razavi. In the province, a working group should be formed and the necessary location should be done in one month.
The president said: In this regard, by emphasizing the presence of the private sector and after that, the capacity of the land and the facilities of the institutions, organizations, ministries, Astan Quds and the municipality, the location work and then the implementation of the project should be put on the agenda.
He continued: “Transportation is a priority to facilitate the pilgrimage for the people, and capacities must be strengthened in the field of air, rail and land fleets in Mashhad, the airport city that Khorasan Governor Razavi mentioned is among the needs of the province and it is necessary.” This should be done as soon as possible.
