The meeting of the American mediator with the President of Lebanon regarding the demarcation of maritime borders

According to the report of Fars International News Agency, “Amos Hochstein”, the American mediator in the case of drawing the maritime borders of Lebanon with the Zionist regime, met with the President of this country, Michel Aoun, in Beirut today.
The meeting was attended by Elias Bousab, Deputy Speaker of the Lebanese House of Representatives, and Brigadier General Abbas Ibrahim, Director General of the Lebanese Public Security Authority.
According to the report of the Lebanese news agencyNNAHochstein said after this meeting in Baabda Palace: “Progress has been achieved and we are optimistic about reaching an imminent solution.”
Although the political analyzes of the Hebrew media indicate Tel Aviv’s optimism in reaching an agreement with Beirut, the military estimates of the Zionist regime are based on the possibility of conflict. In this regard, Channel 12 of the Zionist regime claimed that Tel Aviv will be on constant alert on the border between Lebanon and occupied Palestine, fearing that Hezbollah will launch an operation before signing the border demarcation agreement.
On August 12th, Lebanon’s Hezbollah announced in a statement about the flight of three unarmed drones over the disputed gas field between Lebanon and the Zionist regime (Karish). Although the Israeli army announced that it had intercepted and targeted all three drones, Hezbollah had emphasized in its statement that these drones had an intelligence mission and were able to successfully carry out their mission and convey the desired message of Hezbollah.
