The meeting of the head of the insurance research institute with the head of the Institute of Islamic Economics and Finance, Marmara University, Turkey

According to the financial news report, citing the public relations and international affairs of the Insurance Research Institute, in this meeting, in the presence of Ertugrul Buinokalin, head of the Institute of Islamic Economics and Finance, University of Marmara, Turkey, Hasan Hachak, vice-chairman of the Institute of Islamic Economics and Finance, Murad Shimshek, head of the Islamic Insurance Department. and Hassan Meral and Murad Yas from the assistant professors of the Institute of Islamic Economics and Finance, Marmara University, Turkey. In the fields of banking and Islamic economics, the Institute announced the readiness of the Insurance Research Institute to conclude a memorandum of cooperation with Marmara University.
The head of the insurance research institute also requested to present the plan of this institution to offer Takaful doctorate course and publish the joint scientific works of two collections in the insurance research journal or the journals of this institute.
Referring to the establishment of the Takaful Working Group of the Insurance Research Institute over the past year, he stated that the members of the Takaful Working Group have expertise in the fields of insurance, actuarial, economics, statistics, jurisprudence and law and are ready to cooperate with the academic staff of the Institute of Islamic Economics and Finance. Marmara University of Turkey to carry out joint activities in different fields.
Asgari also invited the president and managers of Marmara University’s Institute of Islamic Economics and Finance to attend the 30th National Conference and the 11th International Conference on Insurance and Development in December 1402 and to provide face-to-face and online training workshops in this conference.
The head of the Insurance Research Institute considered the high level of scientific activities of Marmara University as a good model for the promotion of graduate education in the country’s universities and requested to hold doctoral courses, study opportunity courses for members of the academic faculty of the Insurance Research Institute and to carry out joint research projects in the field of takaful with the cooperation of this institution.
In the continuation of this meeting, Ertugrul Buinokalin, the head of the Institute of Islamic Economics and Finance of Marmara University of Turkey, described Marmara University as the largest and oldest comprehensive university in this country and added that Islamic jurisprudence is available to the general public in Turkey and Islamic economics is also taught in this institution. Turkish, Arabic and English languages are taught. Also, this institution has a close relationship with many institutions of the Islamic world, such as the Accounting and Auditing Organization of Islamic Financial Institutions (AAIOFI).
The head of the Institute of Islamic Economics and Finance of Marmara University, Turkey, referring to the presence of experts in the fields of economics, law, insurance, Islamic finance, actuarial, theology, history and who are fluent in different languages, expressed the readiness of this institution to conclude a memorandum of understanding with the Insurance Research Institute, to hold a Takaful doctoral course and announced the recruitment of Iranian students in the desired fields of the research institute.
After that, he explained the course of economic developments of this country in different fields of jurisprudence and insurance, and by referring to the history, religion and common culture of the two countries, he emphasized the need for joint cooperation between the insurance industry of Iran and Turkey.
